Land of Darkness (video HD, 16:9, 7'14'', 2021)

My video is a fantastic journey to the world preserved on the pages of old books: "The Description of the World" by Marco Polo and "To The South Pole "by Roald Amundsen. The first one is a description of adventures of a famous Venetian traveller in Asia, where fiction is mixed with truth. The other is a dry record of the North Pole's conquest by explorers at the beginning of the 20th century.

Bat Wool ( video HD, 5'55'', 2019)

A video refers to the moment when our planet was explored through expansion of the Western European civilisation and the conquests it involved, whose authentic accounts may be found in such books as Marco Polo’s Travels, Relazione del primo viaggio intorno al mondo by Antonio Pigafetta, or Relation of the Discovery and Conquest of the Kingdoms of Peru by Pedro Pizarro. Excerpts from original descriptions in those volumes provide the textual layer of the work, describing the very first encounter of Europeans with unknown civilisations, an encounter which largely led to their subsequent annihilation.

Film about Dust ( video HD, digital animation, 16:9, 6’46’’, 2018 )

A video that is an unreal story about a journey through the air filled with dust particles. The journey becomes a reflection on the nature of creation of photosensitive images, their memory and errors inherent to the medium of analog photography.
